The Peer Support Group is a confidential listening and referral service provided to JETs by other current JET participants. PSG is open to all current JET Programme participants every night of the year, from 8:00pm to 7:00am — a period when other services such as the Tokyo English Life Line (TELL) are not in service, and when Prefectural Advisors (PAs) are often unavailable.
The PSG does not provide professional counseling, but can provide information about good counseling options. Whether you need help finding a doctor or just want someone to talk to, the PSG is here for you.
They can be contacted at 050-5534-5566, or via Skype at AJETPSG (voice call, not IM). There will be a short message in Japanese before the phone line connects.
For more information, please check the AJET Peer Support Group website.
